Welcome to Cosmo! We love keeping high-quality children’s clothing and small maker pieces in motion and supporting our local Brooklyn community. Before selling to us, please read and agree to the terms below.

By participating in Cosmo’s Buy + Sell program, you agree to the following:

1. Eligibility

  • Sellers must be 18 years or older.
  • A government-issued ID is required at the time of sale for verification purposes.

2. Item Selection

  • Cosmo staff reserve the right to accept or decline any items submitted for resale.
  • Selection is based on condition, brand, material, and current inventory needs.
  • Exceptional pieces from any season are welcome, but final decisions are up to Cosmo.

3. Payout Options

  • Payment is same-day and based on Cosmo’s in-store price for each item:
    • 25% cash via Venmo or Zelle
    • 50% store credit (never expires)
  • Cosmo operates on a buying model, not consignment. Once items are purchased, no future payments or splits are offered.

4. Unselected Items

  • Items not selected for resale can be:
    • Picked up the same day, or
    • Left with Cosmo for donation or local community reuse
  • Items not picked up by the end of the business day will be donated, including the bag your items came in.

5. Donation & Community Policy

  • Donations do not generate store credit or cash.
  • Cosmo prioritizes local reuse and keeps clothing circulating in our Brooklyn community.
  • Items that cannot be resold may be:
    • Donated to neighborhood programs, shelters, and community closets
    • Upcycled or recycled responsibly

6. Condition of Items

  • Items must be clean, gently used, and free of stains, odors, holes, pilling, or pet hair.
  • Cosmo reserves the right to decline items that do not meet these standards.

7. Liability

  • Cosmo handles all items with care, but we are not responsible for loss or damage once items are submitted for review.

8. Agreement

By signing up (or providing your ID and submitting items), you acknowledge that you:

  • Meet the eligibility requirements
  • Understand the payout options
  • Agree to Cosmo’s selection and donation policies
  • Accept that all items are purchased “as-is” and Cosmo is not responsible for items left unselected
